There's no way half of those still work that's assuming you have a drive that still reads 5.25 floppies.

There's isn't any magic in game discs, they aren't crafted by artisans or something, they're dirt cheap mass media that game companies print their data onto and slap on a sticker label. You only "own" it for as long as it continues to work, then it's just another empty box on a shelf.
