This is why I don't mind the relatively lax board culture on /vp/, that includes all its newfags. Sure the other board I previously spent years on was mostly full of "oldfags" great at repelling newfags with vicious gatekeeping, but when all the retards there slowly transformed the whole board and its every general into a literal /r9k/ clone where everyone is both a seething incel and an unironic waifufag who despises shipping (because a fictional guy dating a schizo's fictional wife, story canon or not makes him have irl meltdowns), where nobody posted or created anything of value anymore, what's the fucking point? A fun active board suddenly became the most negative 4chan stereotype with none of its positives, now populated by no one except seething genetic dead ends only there to make everyone as miserable as they are.

At least the gooners on /vp/ are generally cheerful about it and some of the schizos are funny.
