Haps... I personally don't mind the amount of bad posts and only care about good ones, but too much negativity tends to lead to regular people no longer posting due to the thread becoming emotionally draining and they rightfully move on to something else, taking away the remaining good posts. It reminds me of late ShB and mid EW, which is when I stopped browsing for a while as well because it felt like the people who like my posts and post things I like were gone.
