To be honest, you are completely and totally wrong. Iran has been far more buck broken at many points in their history and at times they've been more buck broken than even in the times of Alexander. I can think of at least when Mongolia, Turkey, and Arabia attacked Iran as times when they were more buck broken than even in the times of Alexander, and I can also think of times such as the Heraclian invasion of Iran and the campaigns of Trajan and Hadrian. I'd say they're more buck broken than they have been since 1946, when President Roosevelt withdrew troops from Iran and the main dispute was over if the Soviet Union would reciprocate, and Iran just sat by and watched more powerful countries argue over who would rule over them or if they'd be a buffer zone for the Cold War. That is to say that they are most buck broken compared to the last half century let's say, 70-80 years.
