I wonder who taught Thorns Alchemy first and gave him the love of the Alchemical arts before Aulus traumatized him. Was it just self-taught and Thorns had the innate ability and stumbled upon it by chance and was instantly mesmerized? Did his parents teach him about it and nurtured his love before they vanished?
