It's nice seeing Dizzy and Ember love Lia like we do. I feel negligent in liking Lia as much as I know I'm capable of but I've been under duress as of late. Lia, as I've gone on at great length, is something that can only be, must only be, consumed in it's entirety. The holistic approach to her performance and the thoughtfulness of the choreography is just absolutely breath taking. The particular focus on the finger stirrups and hand placement during the performance was probably one of my favorite parts followed by the omeroshi-esque bouncing step that permeated her every move. Ember really commented beautifully on the sheer cardio demand of such a spirited dance focusing on the frenetic energy behind it that perfectly encapsulates the Phase Supercharger.
It presented a beautiful return to the classic Lia narrative prowess of crafting over arching dramatic arcs through her streams weaving the doubts and misgivings that must be felt by any of the Phase girls as they continue to produce their content during this unprecedented period in Phase history. The brilliant catharsis of the lyrical content of the performance plays back into the self doubt of the company direction in the stream immediately preceding the performance layering an emotional depth to the presentation that can only be appreciated by a genuinely invested fanbase. While all of her moves were executed to the technical proficiency expected of the renowned ability of the flagship Phase product I have to take immense satisfaction in the ending of her routine. The prominent display of the nape of her neck during the final moments of Konton Boogie gave the perfect rush of recognition and the underlying Malware work of the entire production. I don't deserve to know Lia the way I think that I do but am always grateful to be able to slowly grind my way through the realization of the passionate beauty of her work.
