>No, he said specifically that the mismanaged and goal-less Iraq and Afghanistan wars were a pointless waste of lives and money
No, he specifically said going into the Middle East at all was a mistake. No "we should have done it better", he said it was a complete waste from the start and that a "good leader" would have solved the problems with diplomacy. In fact he SPECIFICALLY said only a fuckup like Obama would decide to bomb Iran so I guess by his own admission he's a shitty leader.
>I definitely don't remember when Trump said that, was it at his AIPAC speech in 2016?
That USED to be a basic unquestioned /ptg/ belief before the thread got hijacked by shills.
>Has this happened more recently than half a century ago?
"They only bombed us 50 years ago, it's cool, they real problem is the Iranians keep calling me names ;_;"
>Just like everyone else including Iran
No country owns more of the US government than Israel.
>I feel like Trump could definitely carry water for them harder, he could have sent the Marines into Gaza to kill shitskins faster, for instance
He quite literally said that's exactly what he wants to do, did you already forget his plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza and turn it into beachfront property that totally won't be owned by Kushner and friends?
>I don't think he would have tried to negotiate at all if he were only enforcing Israel's interests
He did not, his "negotiations" were a fucking joke and nothing more than reiterating Israeli demands and giving Iran no real reason to agree except "or else". Meanwhile "terrible negotiator" Obama could actually bring himself to say things like "sanctions relief" when he managed to get the nuclear deal Trump completely failed to and seethes about to this day.
>But if your shilling, I mean, "opinions" were true then wouldn't he have a plan, the plan of doing everything Israel wants in a timely and effective manner?
I mean a plan aside from the one his masters gave him.

>The annexation of Crimea alone has fundamentally changed Russian society and increased Putin's approval rating to over 85% almost overnight.
of course, starting wars increases popularity, every politician knows that - its still forever war, will continue after ukraine, and is about killing white people in the bigger picture, thats why your birth rates are low - by semitic design

" The rally 'round the flag effect, also referred to as the rally 'round the flag syndrome, is a concept used in political science and international relations to explain increased short-run popular support of a country's government or political leaders during periods of international crisis or war.[1] Because the effect can reduce criticism of governmental policies, it can be seen as a factor of diversionary foreign policy.[1] "

>The US already said repeatedly that they would not be allowed to have nukes.
I guess they thought Trump was actually a diplomatically competent leader and not a Zionist cuck. After all, Obama managed to get a deal, so surely The Best Dealmaker could do it, right?
