When the Spanish colonized the Canary Islands, the Guanche natives who were there were pure Berbers without any Arab admixture and were described as having light, somewhat tanned skin, light hair, and practically European features. So that's probably how the pre Arab conquest north African looked, also the egyptians depict them as that too
