movement is a skill expression aspect of fighters or most other games really. its one of the biggest skill dividers
thats why movement gets dumbed down everywhere.
and thats also why they added something like DR. they took something that is a hundred microadjustments per second and turned it into a binary full screen simon says guess.

there are literally no fighters left where your primary way of movement is walking at this point. SF was the last one and they just fucked it.
