>Yeah and you're trying to unreasonably equate terrorists with a formal army
I'm saying both constitute under the definition of terrorism. On one side, you have Hamas. Hamas does actual terrorism, like by the book. They take hostages and they are bad. On the other side, you have Israel. The goal of Israel is to get rid of Hamas. Sounds good, right? Problem is, they took it too far. They bombed large portions of Gaza. They have killed tens of thousands of innocent people, including children. This egregious action is terrorism.
>There's only so much you can do when your enemy wipes their ass with the geneva convention.
No. When your enemy is breaking the law, that doesn't give you permission to break it too. Just because the fight's not fair doesn't mean Israel is inherently justified in killing innocent people, man. That's simply not how it works, it's the rule of law. Israel is held to a standard. Accept that, or don't, but it's true. Actions have consequences.
>Because they're indistinguishable.
I'm pretty sure I can distinguish between a terrorist and a civilian. Terrorists hold guns. Terrorists take hostages. Terrorists kill people. Terrorists operate in high areas of terrorist organizations. Terrorists are individuals capable of being identified by Israel's government. Terrorists can be deliberately targeted and exterminated by Israel.
What are terrorists not? Terrorists are not children. Terrorists are (generally) not women. Terrorists are not innocent people waiting in a humanitarian food line.
If Israel is not 100% certain, they don't get the authority to shoot. That doesn't make it okay.
