For the retards and those who don't understand how the executive branch works: Nobody in the highest levels of the Trump admin new this existed or even signed off on it. Almost all policy and laws are written or influenced by various lobbies. AIPAC likely got someone to sneak this language in, and as soon as it was noticed it got removed. That is obviously an indictment on the staffing at DHS, but that is all it is. There's a lot of folks under the impression that Trump drafts laws, regulations, and policies across all the countless exec agencies. I'd bet he's never drafted anything more comprehensive than an executive order.
