even the shittiest houses in my area start a $300k. rates are ridiculously high and show no signs of dropping, and even if they did that would just make prices go up. so this is the absolute bottom and I can't afford it. it's been clear for the last couple years that if you didn't buy a house in like 2022 you'll just never afford anything.
