There's a few other doors in this hallway that seem to lead to other labs. You don't exactly want to stick your nose into them right now, might as well head to the cafeteria. Wherever that is.
You pick a random direction that you think you heard some footsteps echoing from. You'll have to find a map of this place later so you don't have to wander like a chicken with his head cut off.
The place is built like a maze. There's no landmarks aside from the random grey door with an almost illegible placard next to it. You take random turns for what feels like minutes.
The distant sound of casual conversation and forks clattering against metal trays echoes through the hallway. You're close! You're about to head towards the cafeteria but you notice someone leaning against one of the walls.
They're facing away from you so you can't make out much of their appearance. The white labcoat and black dress pants they're wearing are barely hanging on their gaunt, spindly body. Their blonde hair is a shaggy mess stained in a slurry of black and brown gunk.
You swear their skin is about to slough right off their bones. Their skin hangs off their body in heavy, flabby flaps.
"It's fine," You can barely hear what they're saying. They're slurring their words together. "It's worth the price." Their teeth grind together with every word they speak.
You. You're not sure what to do here. This is the first person you've seen here all day that wasn't that smug turtleneck wearing bastard and they look like...this?
What do you do, Vincent?
>Walk past them. You do not want to get ANYWHERE near them. (Soothes your mind.)
>Try to figure out what's wrong with them. Maybe you can help treat it? (DC 60, +1 from SURFACE LEVEL ANATOMY)
>Offer to escort them to the cafeteria, no questions asked. They clearly need food more than you do.
>You think they're a researcher. Ask them where you're at and what the hell is going on here. (DC 40)
>Hand them the MYSTERY BAGGIE. Might put some pep in their step. (-MYSTERY BAGGIE)
>Write in.
