It's incredibly hard to make out any proportions in that image because of the pose and oversized anime head and clothing and all. Here's another random drawing they did.

The colors on the outfit are whatever he borrowed from his reference photo and the rest is super basic shit you could figure out instantly (sun is up high, therefore bottom of sleeves have more shadow)

It's uniquely unappealing in the sense that the artist keeps drawing thick, shitty, squiggly lines.

But why defend that? Why not look at that and say "this artist incessantly tries to include references to 'current meme' therefore I dislike their shit"? You can just stick to japanese artists or ones that aren't cringe.
