>still no alternative to apple

Why?

iPhone is probably one of the weaker products but afaik android phones still don't have proper LIDAD based face unlock, lots of them don't receive 5 years of updates and plenty of them have adverts everywhere. Tbf apple themselves did this recently but it's not as OTT

I don't think there any laptops like the MBA which are fanless, slim/light, barely heat up, extremely fast, extremely long batter life and excellent screen/trackpad/speakers. Like nothing has even come close since they switched to m processors.

AirPods might not have absolute best sound but work so flawlessly with iPhone/Mac

iPad, like no competition at all.

Then because of this they can charge extortionate prices and purposefully hold back tech like 120hz screens in base models or ridiculous upgrade prices for ram/storage cause what the fuck are you going to do?

Switch to the stinkpad which still has a fan, has battery life which lasts a couple hours and whirrs up when you load chrome? Switch to Samsung galaxy which still uses a finger print scanner? And yes I know apple have issues but nothing glaringly huge like the alternatives which is why they're so overwhelmingly dominant amongst upper middle class professionals and above.

I'm at $1.35 mil age 26 in UK where it's much, much harder/rarer to get wealthy. For my age, I'd estimate this is top 0.01%. I'm also a doctor and feel like I'll be at $4 mil by 30.

I was moaning about it a week ago but it honestly sucks. In most developed countries there isn't any financial stress anyway and every normie can own a car and go on holiday regularly.

Even now I'm so far past the average person my age I find it impossible to relate, dating is incredibly hard unless you want to date people 35+ cause no one is in the same position and I have to move about constantly because I'm avoiding capital gains tax.

Long term it seems like the vast majority of people from wealthy backgrounds (Eton, Harrow, Pauls, Oxbridge, Imperial, LSE, UCL) are useless and I think there's a genetic component, no reason to suspect my kids won't be any different to the norm and never achieve anything of note so it doesn't even mean anything in the end.

I'm just not sure what the point of this was and it is so fucking lonely here. Obviously being poor sucks but there is definitely a middle ground and this is not it. I'm deeply envious of the Barrat build middle class where you have a nice lifestyle but none of the stressors which come with being a true outlier.

It was a long term bitcoin hold.
