I am sorry this lad was so troubled as to do this to himself. Maybe he genuinely feels better about himself but he will grow older and the gravity of his actions will catch up when he realizes how out of sync with his God given nature he's been. I've been friends with trans people, mainly at work, the few I've met have been decent enough people (though obnoxiously leftist at times) but they are deeply troubled and paranoid about how they are perceived.
