The RPG warheads already come with fuses designed to crumble and close the circuit on impact but it isn't as reliable when mounted on a drone instead of a rocket and there are tons of RPG cages and nettings designed to prevent it from detonating. The two wires dramatically increase the detonation rate when impacting.
