i buy it, been to china a few times, and dated mostly chinese women. the resentment towards men in general checks out. i also think the older gen z and millennial chinese women have grown up in relative comfort compared to other generations so there's a larger degree of emphasis on self actualization and personal fulfillment than there has been in decades past.
