i've just spent the last 10 minutes trying to find the article that describes exactly what you said. it was about this old fart who had a woodworking club with his buddies. it was exclusively men than his wife nagged him into submission and women are in it now. they way they spun it it was as if the whole thing was so positive. it's such bs, man. i did find one as consolation that spoke to the absurdity of it all.
