Parrots are monogamous similarly to humans. If you own a parrot it is advised to not touch them below the head because that arouses them sexually and makes them think of you as their mate. If they get aroused and can't have sex they get stressed and especially if they see you as a mate and feel like you reject their advances that can be traumatizing for them. With birds we understand this stuff but if you're a human you just have to live with arousing images being everywhere and women doing fake mating displays to rip you off.
