zoomers back then weren't videogame players they were subscribed to """"GAMERS""" on jewtube and watched their playthroughs of it, they were told undertale is amazing, they did not come up with that opinion themselves. the memes also back this up in their mind, more memes = great game
now they have nostalgia for undertale and that shields it from any flaws someone might point out, basically no one genuinely thinks it's a great game, they were forced to think it is through many different factors
