Son of a bitch...an AfD local politician fought for Ukraine. In the image you can see his tweets, retweets and also replies, luckily people are NOT big fans of his contribution to Ukraine.

>>AfD politician Schramm fought against Russia: „The Ukrainian fight is also a German one“
>Tim Schramm is 22 years old, deputy district chairman of the AfD-Wuppertal and voluntarily fought on Ukraine's side against the Kremlin regime. He is one of the youngest politicians in the party, is well connected and completed a traineeship in the European Parliament.

NIUS spoke to him about his motivation, the supposedly conservative Russia and why Europe is defended in Donbass.
NIUS: Mr. Schramm, what motivated you to travel to Ukraine?
>Schramm: That may sound absurd, but it was actually the AfD. Our NRW parliamentary group has always been comparatively transatlantic. Back in 2022, shortly after the start of the war, we organized an aid transport – three buses full of medical supplies, directly to the war zone. At the time, no one knew if Kiev would fall. I went along. That was my first contact with Ukraine.
NRW being transatlantic? Name a better duo, it's always the state of NRW, Merz is from there too.

AfD politcians supported his endeavour to go to Ukraine, and it had an effect on AfD.
But party friends –including higher-ranking people– encouraged me. Many just said: „Dude, awesome!“ The response was mostly positive, even from political opponents such as CDU people or NAFO activists. Of course, critical tones also came – for example from Compact magazine. But my personal highlight is that a debate has finally started within the party. The Russia narrative is crumbling. I'm very happy about that.
