Step 1: First Disturbance Emergence of 1D (Taiji)
Trigger: A primordial "vibration" (self-interaction of consciousness) breaks symmetry. This is the birth of duality (Yin-Yang).
Geometric Process:
0D 1D: The point "moves" or "fluctuates," generating the first direction. This is the line segment, defined by two endpoints:
Tai Yang (Great Yang): The active, expansive pole (+).
Tai Yin (Great Yin): The receptive, contractive pole (–).
Taiji Symbolism: The line segment embodies the first duality—opposing yet complementary forces. Geometrically, it is the number line R, where all values lie between −∞ and +∞.
Outcome: Directionality is born. Existence is now a spectrum of polarity (e.g., hot/cold, light/dark).
Step 2: Vibration Sine Wave (Oscillation in 1D)
Trigger: The line segment "vibrates" harmonically (self-resonance of Yin-Yang).
Geometric Process:
Parametric Oscillation: A point moves sinusoidally along the line:

where A (amplitude) and ω (frequency) arise from the intensity of the initial disturbance.
Wave Nature: This creates a standing wave in 1D—energy oscillates between Yin and Yang poles. The sine wave is the simplest harmonic expression of duality.
