An update to my post from last week. So I asked around and was told that the NS Federation of Hunters and Anglers had approached DNR and told them the rules regarding which calibers are permitted (no .22lr and nothing larger than .308) at the public ranges was arbitrary and unreasonable. The person I was speaking to was surprised to hear that those rules were still included in the liability waiver online. Gotta love how incompetent and irreverent our government offices are.
Inb4 anyone asks yes the woods being closed under the forestry act is mega gay. People around here hate it but Im sure they will all cooomply anyways. If you want to read some brain rot on the subject got to the Nova Scotia and Halifax subreddits lol. A bunch of urbanites from Halifax were complaining that that cant use the bike trails to get to work. They wanted to ban all the rural people from using the woods but are demanding an exception for themselves. Go figure.
