The inside of the Embassy is comparably much livelier than that of the lawn. As the doors swing open, the attention of most of the Embassy’s inhabitants turn towards you. Here, you are able to get your first look at some of the other competitors that you will face off against. A man clad in purple armor with a ridiculous hairstyle is currently busy entertaining a group of women reminiscent of the Maya dancers you’d seen in Shangri-La. Upon your arrival, he stops a jest he’d been in the middle of to stare at you pensively.
Not too far from him, a red haired noble sits by himself. He sports well-made armor, of which the craftsmanship could have only come from the finest blacksmiths of the capital city. Yet, the most notable thing about him is the eyepatch he sports over his right eye. He observes you cooly over a glass of wine, his expression giving nothing away.
Another man, this one with a thick head of hair covering his head and face, currently feasts on the carcass of a turkey. Despite his vigorous appetite, you can tell that he’s staring at you with a look of curiosity and intrigue.
On the second floor, you notice two men staring down at you. The first is a gray-haired fellow. Perhaps the oldest competitor here. You sense a strong magic brimming from him, as he stares down at you with a hawkish look. Not too far off from him is a gentleman dressed in the garb of the Church of Seiros, who outright stares at you with a curious glance, before making a sign to the goddess.
Finally, you see the first familiar face you’d seen yet. Elric von Boramus sits by himself in the corner of the room, enjoying what appears to be a shrimp cocktail. Making eye contact with the boy, he simply waves at you, as if everything in the world were completely normal.
>A): Blend in and enjoy the delights offered.
>B): Declare to everyone in the room who you are, and that you will defeat them all.
>C): March straight for Elric.
>D:) Choose someone to walk up to and speak with.
>E): Write-in
