The faces in this film are shit, uncanny valley, pale imitations of anime, and only made for the purpose of making memes rather than adding to the natural expressiveness of the animation.

If I ever have a kid I’m showing them stuff that does expressive animation right like Ren & Stimpy, The Patrick Star Show, or heck even Hotel Transylvania to show how to properly do exaggerated 3D animation.
