"It's honestly not that complicated." You said as you looked at what you had to eat. It was takoyaki, you think, by how savory it tasted. And you wondered how she managed to make this so quickly.
"It's her wedding ring, isn't it?" Mel guessed, turning to you. "I mean, you put a lucky spell on that. Right, Master?"
"Yeah, I sure did." You said. A little bit of luck wouldn't Ayane, you felt.
From there conversations devolved into other things.
Most prominent of these was a small argument that emerged between Cattleya and Gerty.
"Listen, mate," Cattleya repeated what she'd said for the fifth time now "I just need the bloody clankers for a little while to help with the fookin' hangar."
"And once more, I will ask for how long exactly?" Gerty replied, her voice like a wall. "I must organize this with my schedule, considering that a particular number of clankers are needed to-"
"Bloody hell, how about a week? Sounds fair, innit?" Cattleya meowed after eating another egg.
"If the Master is willing, I shall do it." Gerty countered.
"Um," Mel decided to throw her opinion in the ring. "I actually need some clankers as well... Not construction ones! Just a few regulars or an armored one. Cause there's some high level enemies coming over when I was scouting the base of the mountains, and I'd like to have some defenses. I mean I wouldn't be against looking through the forest again, since it'll help me practice Woodland Stride. And, uh, in that respect... why can't we share how many clankers we all get?"
Both your Cat and your Holy Knight looked poised to rebuff your beguiler, but with a word you were able to nip this emerging argument in the bud.
