Beyond having vaguely similar circumstances and having protagonist syndrome, Claire is actually nothing like Rean in personality. Rean actually has self-worth issues which leads to his martyr complex, whereas Claire and Leo are just straight-up bland hero busybodies who are too well-adjusted to have any hidden angst.

If anything she's closer to Estelle.

The whole Earth arc feels like it's there to fill out the holes in Claire's characterization since she was barely focused on in the main story. During that arc she's characterized as
>outgoing and high-energy
>enjoys trying out new hobbies and food
>open-minded so she enjoys both otaku and normie hobbies (and she doesn't judge Sylvia for having written a page-long rant about game Claire's virginity)
>loves teasing people (she DOES ask Sylvia to read the whole rant out with a smirk on her face)
>generally doesn't have a problem treating the whole thing like an extended vacation while Alice is busy poring through political philosophy books to bring the knowledge back to their world
