Giulia had a bigger buzz a year ago in Stardom/Marigold than she does now in 'the big leagues'
As a fan of hers for the last 5 years, I really find this sad. Even if she's happy where she is, from a outside fan perspective her "aura" has completely faded. Absolutely nobody is talking about her, and hasn't been in months. Why am I not surprised?
They should have brought her and Stephanie in separately so they could get over individually, like they did Kairi and Iyo who debuted a year apart. Some vignettes, some in depth character development and some storylines anyone cares about could have also helped.
Instead Stephanie has shot to the moon in six months and Giulia is an afterthought, with two forgettable title runs, zero story arc and eliminated from the Evolution battle royal early by Zelina Vega (a jobber most of her career).
Now with everyone from Naomi, Iyo and Jordynne to Kelani, and even Lash Legend feeling more relevant than her, Giulia is just lost in the sauce.
I get it though, something something the big leagues. Blah blah blah.
