Happens to me all the time! I only use eggs for baking, so the usual 10-pack lasts me for a month, even though they tend to have best before periods of about 2 weeks. Haven't had a bad egg yet! After 4 weeks, I put any leftover eggs into small glass jars, mix them up and freeze them. They're still good enough!
