Anime honestly feels kinda stuck in a rut nowadays, and I see more people moving to just manga I think this is partially why /a/ has so many dailies compared to before

I used to dismiss 'old good new bad' as just a negative generalisation, but I'm starting to get why people think that nowadays... I'd say there's still 1 or 2 good standout anime per season, but the general quality is noticeably lower across the board.
You can just lower your standards like >>279847855 if you want to keep up FOTM that badly. Or work on your backlog! I saw picrel recently, short OVA but pretty damn good
