If the albanians fought the ottomans so hard alongside Skanderbeg, why did they convert to islam right after? Makes no sense.

I believe skanderbeg was a Byzantine prince who just merely spoke albanian, it adds up.

Problem is that we don't call ourselves albanians, we call ourselves "shqiptars" (people of the eagle)


But Skanderbeg constantly called himself king of the albanians, not of the shqiptars, but not an albanian himself so to speak, which adds up, our flag is a blatant steal of the roman aguila (or Byzantine double headed eagle)

The double headed eagle is so overused, literally every country in Europe has used it or a variation of it.

So yeah, chances are, I'm a mountain turk.
