Since The Plan was of generating an extinction event to render it as pure fantasy and guarantee the survival of the human race, does that mean the Lostbelt were actually the “failed experiments” before? Now that I think about it, more often than not humanity survived in it and in 6 and 7 they weren’t the Prime Species being the fairies (which got themselves killed in the first run) and the Deinos.
Perhaps this is the crux of Maribury’s plan: he needed an actual extinction event of humanity as the Prime Species being no survivors.
