I've been "catching up" lately on a few different Platinum titles that I missed and just finished playing both Wonderful 101 and Astral Chain for the first time. I was VERY surprised to learn that most people prefer Astral Chain since I thought W101 was far superior. What an underrated gem it is, even with having to do the drawing motions on a control stick. Creative combat, charming characters, a surprisingly interesting story, and overall just a very FUN game. Whereas Astral definitely overstayed its welcome and I was bored by the 20th time I went to the same copy/pasted red cube world.
