I still have my brothers' old Xbox accounts on my friend list. They're not dead but they both got an Xbox One and didn't bother carrying over their accounts so they just made new ones instead. Their old Xbox 360 accounts are still sitting there in my friends list and I get a little sad seeing them even though I talk to my brothers every other day
