I mean this completely sincerly: Snyder should make anime. I watched Rebel Moon Part 1 and 2 Directors Cut things. If this was animated I think they would be big. But when you watch Snyder live action it just feels bland, cliche and messy. It doesn't feel humanistic and it appeals to autists. In fact, most Snyder fans seem to be on the spectrum. And people on the spectrum love anime too.
Seriously, go back and look at his filmography. Sucker Punch, Amry of the Dead, Rebel Moon, Man of Steel, 300, Watchmen, I think every single one of these films would have made a better animated film and worked more than live action.
And bonus round: Gunn should go back to making lower budget horror/comedy type shit again. I get that Marvel loved using indie or lower budget directors to slot into their productions but that shit has meant too many of these people get delusions of grandeur. Gunn needs low budget shit.
