Finished building and painting the sword impulse. I kept the back the normal shade of red but I darkened the shield and bodies reds. There's a lot of tiny imperfections but I think the matte topcoat will make them invisible. If it doesn't though, I won't mind. I'll call it weathering.
Overall, very weird and unsatisfying build. A lot of the time it felt like I was building stuff without any visual progress. It handles the gimmick better than the victory did though.
