The 1959 communist revolution led to a significant exodus of Jewish Cubans, with around 94% emigrating, mainly to the United States.

Many Cuban Jews settled in Miami, New Jersey, and Houston.
Those who remained in Cuba faced restrictions on religious practice under the new regime.

Present Day:

The Jewish community in Cuba is estimated to be around 1,000 to 1,500 people, primarily located in Havana.
