tried and tested.
>keep an eye out for a group of 5-8 women, where the partygirls managed to drag marriage material out for the night.
>avoid wearing a blazer which will make you blend in. wear a nice crewneck sweater with jeans and boots in colder months, or a patterned polo with khaki shorts and deck shoes in the warmer months, to be casual but slightly more fashionable than other men. wear a watch, groom your hair, wear some cologne.
>go out with friends if you have them, and play darts or do karaoke. avoid just sitting there (it looks bad). if you don't know what you're doing, avoid going alone, find friends first then go out with them. if you know what you're doing, then why are you here
>if with friends and doing an activity at a bar, invite the lady you're fancying to the activity. "hey you're cute, wanna play darts with us?" or "hey what song are you singing next?"
>you're both looking for an excuse, so if you feel she's right but situation isn't right, send it anyway
>rejection is normal don't take it seriously
>if she's not rejecting you then escalate slightly with words and slight physical contact. if she seems comfortable with that then look her square in the eyes and say "hey there", and see if she smiles, if so then go for a gentle kiss, escalate from there as you will
>listen to your gut. if it's not right then skiiiiip. this has saved my ass on multiple occasions
with a few experiences this becomes muscle memory and you can start to have fun with it, breaking rules, saying dumb shit. i love trying to get my single friends hooked up, it's funny as fuck, "hey my friend thinks you're cute" to a random girl and point at him. some of my friends know when i stand up from a bar table that i'm about to implicate them and they come with and "don't listen to him" to the random girl, etc etc
