Again, if you dismiss something that is true because you don't like who said it, that is on you and truly the worst way to go about things. Groups of medical professionals clearly know a lot. But they are also part of a culture with norms and there are things you could say that will get you excluded from that. Also there are a lot of people who have known things or been doing them a particular way all their life, and not all of them want a change.

I don't think you're stupid either, anon, but this right here is fucking abhorrent. Yes, it's good to focus on what is right in front of you, but all of those little right in front of you'd add up until it's right in front of the whole of society and no one can get away from it. What bad practices you decide to speak or not speak up about literally affects people's lives.
Try to care a little bit more.
