literally this. it's not surprising radfems are siding with conservatives after the trans schism with the left or developing certain right-wing views like anti-abortion the way this bitch did because all of the worst authoritarian aspects of the US left (and by proxy global left given the influence America has), even if coming from atheists, ultimately are shaped by America's evangelical proselytizing culture. even if you're not doing it "for jesus", if you go beyond 2000s social liberalism & want to impose yourself on others this way especially by policing artistic expression you're doing this, secular-identified or no, because that's your from belonging to a deeply evangelical culture

I also honestly expected better from the US left (liberals and "tr00 leftists" alike) because, while I disagree with dumb political shit he said like crying about Bernie, James Gunn's response to "sexism" accusations towards Lollipop Chainsaw & critique of game journos in general was extremely good. Like absolutely fucking spot on and feeling like the final stand of that 2000s US left attitude. And instead of going for that libs & leftists helped normalize the exact cancerous radfem views that this woman & her org, regardless of how you ideologically categorize them, used to justify their campaign.
