oh, and you can find used 3070s for like... $250ish. Thats still an absolutely fine gpu and will play everything on high.
And streaming really doesn't take a shitton of processing overhead - as well as you're not really going to want to be streaming in 1440p / most sites won't let you stream at resolutions/bitrates that high unless you are already a well established creator. Streaming at 1080p is fine, but the nature of the game is most of your audience is gonna be south americans or south east asians who watch everything in 540/720p anyways. You are most likely going to be having issues with your isp (most home connections in the US dont have symmetrical speeds so your upload will be significantly lower than your download) and the stability of your internet connection before you have any issues with the hardware itself on the pure streaming side of things. You can play games at 1440 but expect to upload video at 720/1080p.
The other thing you really need to consider if you're serious about streaming is storage space. Pretty much all content creators save their videos as well as stream them. Usually the local recordings they save are at full resolution of what they're playing at. 2-3 hours of 1440p video adds up real fuckin' fast on your hard drive. For that reason alone you might even want to consider just streaming at 1080p. You are way better off saving some money on your cpu and spending it on storage if you're planning on being serious.
