Here's an interesting question that I don't think has ever been posed here: Which design for the regular Super Saiyan hair did you prefer? It was noticeably different across each major arc in Z, appearing more fluffy and solid on Namek while being more rigid and detailed during the Buu arc, with Cell being somewhere in the middle.
I don't think any of them are bad, but I've always preferred how it looked on Namek. Something about it just seemed mystical and ethereal, like Jason's golden fleece.
