You see it's a bit schizophrenic for a lot of people too. Since like Kaiserreich has been doing changes to pretty much make the whole world revolve around ww2 that needs to always start on a particular date, even going as far as pondering if not to add oil embargo mechanic to hamper Japan in the future. And various other things removed/changed due to "realism" and "plausibility"
But at the same time Savinkov is just full on what. With shit like pulling a katyn massacre-esque false flag on pows to show his army is dysfunctional, nuking London and Paris and then feeling bad cuz it didn't "destroy materialism" as he declared before, and throwing every single irl young conservative/nazi/strasserite etc as his "useful idiots" but then making it so he puts a rando military man in charge of german puppet cuz the "german savinkovists" are too irrelevant or crazy.
His death event when enemies capture Moscow and it's just Hitler killing himself in the bunker, even with SAVINKOV DEAD included to mirror that famous newspaper is just a cherry on top.
So ultimately for people like that it's less of a question of realism etc cuz it all flies out of the window when they want their headcanon, it's just a useful cuddle against anyone that'd try to criticize what they do.
