Explosions hit the Central Asia–Center gas pipeline in Russia’s Volgograd region, knocking it out of service. The pipeline, owned by Gazprom, carries gas from Turkmenistan via Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to Russia and supplies several military facilities, including the Demikhovsky Machine-Building Plant, MiG aircraft company, and Magnum-K ammunition factory.
