JAPAN -- Currently, the official Trump tariff on Japan is 24%, not 35% as seen in OPs image. Keep in mind that Trump decided to impose tariffs in order to bring countries to the table willing to make a trade deal. Trump has given Japan three full months to respond and agree to negotiate a new trade deal. Japan has not done so. As a result, Trump has threatened to increase the tariff to "30% or 35%" (his words) if no deal is reached soon.
CHINA -- Currently, there is a 90-day pause on the tariff imposed on China. That pause was put in place because China said that they are willing to make a deal but need time to work out the details. That pause is due to expire on July 9. The Trump tariff on China is 145%, not 30% as seen in OPs image.
