Roy is in a bad spot that isn't his fault.
>If he's not very personable and informative, then he sucks
If he is informative but not personable then only the true autists who need to know how well Swiss GP11 spitzer ammunition penetrates a meat target in the pacific northwest in a foggy moist field will watch it
>If he is personable but not informative then he will get accused of dumbing down the channel
If he is trying to follow the formula his brother did but not as good, then he is just chasing his brother's legacy.
If you hated Paul, you would never watch him anyways.
The only way for Roy to ever "win" is to somehow be a better Paul than Paul and that will never happen. Paul was Paul, Roy was Roy. He has his own way of presenting information, his own real life biases and experiences that formed his opinions, and he may come to similar or different conclusions. He is already far better than he started and let's be real, Paul's charisma was something that had to grow on all of us too. Grading him as a random boomer guntuber, he is already a 9/10. The worst thing about him is that he is Paul Harrel's brother because it rigs the game against him no matter what.
>I like Roy, admittedly not as much as Paul, but that's just how it is. But him doing this in part to honor his brother and sticking with it is something that I have nothing but admiration for.
