Every Xenoblade game is VERY different from one another in terms of gameplay and even tone. Though the core is roughly the same and if you enjoyed XC2/3 or X then you should enjoy the first one. Get Definitive Edition since it will feel less dated, though it'll still feel "older" compared to the later entries. If that's not a concern though then you should like it.
