I think politicians knew this country was fucked somewhere around covid lockdowns. Running around shagging anything that moved, throwing parties and going away on private yachts while police were arresting people on a beach alone. Reminds me of the last days of Rome or the third Reich. They knew the game was up. We're just marking time now until a complete collapse. There's no way back from any of this
