The main thing that I look for with craft room decor to decide if it's just for the 'gram or if they're serious is the size/type of table, task lighting, and whether they have doors or covers on at least part of their fabric stash. I don't know anyone who sews that has a perfectly organised stash like most "craft inspo" shit, so it's nice to be able to hide half finished stuff and random bits of fabric behind doors rather than have mess on display. Threads are easier because they look nice in colour order on a wall, but different sized pieces of fabric look messy fast. Also, if you don't have a huge table or floor space but the room is quite large, then how are you even laying / cutting patterns?
